Save time and frustration learning NVivo. Learn only what you need to setup and code your project.
Save time and frustration learning NVivo 11 for Windows. This course will teach you what you need to know (not all of the functions in NVivo) in order to setup and start coding your project. You will have the opportunity to work hands-on with sample data using both deductive (top-down) and inductive (bottom-up, what is emerging from the data) coding approaches. This course is intended for doctoral students, faculty, and researchers working on text-based data (e.g. interviews, focus groups, and open-ended responses) only.
In this course you will:
•Comprehend the Benefits and Uses of NVivo
•Setup and Organize Data in NVivo
•Learn How and What to Code in NVivo
•Inductive approach (plus a hands-on exercise)
•Deductive approach (plus a hands-on exercise)
•Preform Coding Consensus
•Save and Backup an NVivo project
I started Asher Consulting, LLC
because I value research and the knowledge it has to offer if it is done
correctly. Research explores and seeks to gain insight into the
consciousness and socialization that makes us human. By understanding
what makes us human, we can utilize our results to connect with other
people, improve people’s quality of life, enhance our communities, and
gain insight into our own and others cultures and cultural practices.
My goal is to equip
researchers with the knowledge and skills they need to investigate and improve
humanity. I have had the fortunate opportunity to work with over 5000 doctoral candidates, faculty, and researchers over the past 16 years. In addition, I have provided NVivo training to several thousand doctoral candidates, faculty, and researchers nationally and internationally over the past 16 years. I am also a listed NVivo trainer for QSR International.
By focusing on people’s motivations, behaviors, experiences, thoughts, attitudes, and/or beliefs, we gain meaningful insights into the essence of the human experience. I feel it is important to use these insights to better programs, policies, products, or services to meet people’s and/or communities needs.
